Thursday 19 May 2011: Stenhouse Mansion, 1623
This architectural gem is hidden behind a petrol station, squeezed between a repair garage and a fire showroom, just a stones throw from Saughton Prison. I first came across it when I took my car in for repair.
Today the car went in for a service and I was briefly reacquainted with Stenhouse Mansion.
