Saturday 21 May 2011: Pressing the Flesh

I reluctantly gave up part of my Saturday to meet and greet my local MP, Kate Ellis, MP for Adelaide and owner of the fancy title Minister for Employment Participation and Childcare; Minister for the Status of Women.

Since I am now an Australian Citizen, I thought it only fair to introduce myself. She was even willing to have a mugshot with me. The things politicians will do to get elected.

I was also happy to meet the Hurtle Square Socialist Cell, who obviously control the Labor Party in Adelaide.
