Before anyone says anything, yes I have taken liberties with the sky. It was dusk, not armageddon!
The 'disco' from our terrace at the Mas, which doesn't show one tenth of all the hundreds (literally) of lights atop of wind turbines that we can see after dark. The white lights are incredibly strong and light up our front wall... even from that distance, although they have been toned down slightly from what they were initially.
The darkness here used to be of the thick variety on moonless nights, and we could regularly see the Milky Way, but that's now a thing of the past and we're lucky to see any stars at all.
Yesterday we saw this scrawled on the side of a building, "La llum del vent, t'enfosqueix el ment' which means 'the light of the wind, darkens the mind'. In other words it sends you mad!
Oh and yes, there is something wrong with this camera, something to do with the light/exposure control, as it only takes reasonable photos inside or in relative darkness.
