Saturday 21 May 2011: It's oh so quiet
Another, I think, well thought out by By Order Of Me sign. At first sight it is just another version of a typical " Please be quiet " sign that you may see in a library, or you would have in the past, but I love the paradoxical use of the words. By the third and final Sh! one can imagine it being said as loud as you can in whispering mode.
Very clever methinks.
Meanwhile today's video is steering away from the obvious, but still brilliant Bjork cover of the song, and going for the original 1951 Betty Hutton version
