Welcome to Hamilton Island

We arrived on Hamilton Island today (which is an Island in Queensland)
This, as far as I'm concerned, is what Australia is all about.

It's sunny, warm, relaxing, there are beautiful views and beaches, lots of cockatoos (I'm sure the novelty of those will wear off in the morning when they're screeching us awake) and happy hour.

I'm currently sitting in the hotel room with the balcony door open and the sound of the sea in the background and wondering 'Can it get much better than this'?
