Storm Cloud / Ash Cloud?

Whichever one you are you are causing havoc.

In fact the ash cloud might not reach us but it has already cancelled all tomorrow mornings flights out of Sumburgh.

As far as the storm clouds go we seem to have got off lightly with the highest wind gust of 71mph at around one in the morning. Heavy rain though so much for my thoughts on a drought

Still the further north you are the more used to it you are and we have few trees so there is not usually that problem to deal with. We are also more in the eye of the low pressure at the moment but the Ferry to Aberdeen is missing Orkney due to the seas and the Ferry from Aberdeen is delayed.

All part of Island life but wait a minute this is May, not November!!
