Monday 23 May 2011: the end of the world
We just watched 2012. I've seen a fair few disaster movies in my time but this was just ridiculous. I mean, if you're running out of fuel in your aeroplane, and it looks like you're going to have to ditch in the sea, what are the chances that the entire earth's crust has moved so that not only will you be able to land, but you'll be able to land exactly where you were going in the first place? Completely ridiculous. Which is a good thing, because if it had taken itself too seriously I'd never have made it to the end.
