Tuesday 24 May 2011: Cellist
I usually walk when I'm looking for street shots, but this afternoon it was hot? very hot - about 95 degrees F. So I stood on the corner in front of Finkelsteins, the half music/half jewelry store in downtown Wilmington. This young woman approached the corner and I snapped her picture. I'm assuming she saw me, but I am not sure. At any rate, she didn't duck. I cropped a bit and used Nik to switch to black and white and make some small tweaks. I shot in manual mode all the way, but had to keep on changing the exposures because of the severe contrast in light.
