We bought this table in 1999. It was for our first apartment in Paris. I had lived in rented accommodation for over ten years in England, always furnished. Dodgy sofas and 70's tables , but furnished nether the less. I arrive in France and furnished flats do NOT exist. So we everything to buy. Ikea became by best bilingual friend.

Since the table has been orange, red, green, grey and white. It has been a chameleon in our ever changing world. Today it got stripped. Back to basics. Tomorrow it gets waxed. Then into the kitchen it goes. Family heirlooms have to start somewhere
