Minimum Measures!

This marble plate it's situated on the wall of the Venice Fish Market in Rialto area ...the main commercial area of Venice since the mid 1300! ...the story of Venice passed thru the calli (typical narrows streets of Venice), campi (little squares) and markets of Rialto!...here both the veg and fish markets are still working, busy, charming, lively, full of character and also a bit expensive!;-)

Soooo...what's written on this plate?!...i had to take a pic of this cos it made me laugh so much...well...it gives indications about what the minumum measures permitted of fish must be for then being sold!
So you have this list...with fish names all in venitian dialect (so cool)...some fish must be 7 cm...some others 12 etc...and at the end a guy, that for sure is very proud of his measure ;-) wrote with a pen "el mio" ...which means "Mine"....37cm!!!

Well u can easily guess what he did measure...lol...for sure not his fish!;-)))))
