Friday 27 May 2011: Gravestone Detail

Amazing detail on the stone of Commander Adam Duncan Dundas (1822-1904) in Dalmeny Cemetery.

A short ride today from the house to Dalmeny and then on to Kirkliston before heading home. I picked the wrong day for it because coming towards me on the cycle path were what seemed like several hundred school children on a sponsored walk. I was disappointed by the lack of originality in all the cheeky comments from the kids, although interestingly enough they all came from the boys. The girls were pleasant and on the whole moved quickly out of the way.

Have a great day everyone.
