Friday 27 May 2011: Homeward bound
I'm sittin' in the airport lounge, got a ticket for my destination
On a tour of conference stands, my suitcase and laptop at hand
And every stop is neatly planned for a DP and a one-man band
Homeward bound, I wish I was homeward bound
Home, where my thoughts escape, at home, where my music's playin'
Home, where my love lies waitin' silently for me
( I wish!!!)
Waved windy Wellie behind and headed back to Nelson tonight. Small plane so no plane / night light shots and didn't take too many in Wellie. Did take some of Rodney Hide who was a key note at our conference but they made him look like even more of a slaphead than he already is so took this shot of the instrument panel on my car instead. 125km later I was indeed home.
