Iris On The Flight Line.

Seventy mile-an-hour gales blast Scotland and maroon us for four hours in the departure lounge, although the heavy rain and intermittent sunshine treat us to spectacular double rainbows rising over the airport complex.

Despite most other flights being cancelled on account of the storms, we manage to make it out - but not after a steep rollercoaster ride of a take-off.
