Au revoir Anya!

Party at mine to see Anya (white jumper) off to America. She is getting married to a lovely guy called Chris, who was in Nizhny as a student last year. We are very happy for them, but will miss her very much! They actually wanted to get married here, as his family can better afford to come to Russia than hers to America, but for visa reasons have had to do it this way. Can anyone tell me why it is easier for a fiancee to get a visa than a wife???? Where is the logic?
