Proper Bo!

As in Bowood House where we took Son #2 to celebrate Birthday #3!

All great fun and an awesome adventure playground which some adults really were getting on and up whilst trying to pretend they were helping their kids!

Great place, seat of the Marquess of Lansdown - interestingly only the orangery wing survives which is the bit on the left in this picture! The big house on the right was knocked down in 1955. Imagine doing that now!

Anyway, an interesting enough place where we got to see the death mask of Napoleon. It has to be reported that he had good bone structure but all a bit macabre - they even have a lock of his hair. Presumably the hair could still be tested to see if the rumours of his poisoning are true? Depends on the poison I hear you say..!

Anyway Son #2 is properly 'zonked'. He had 100% success in all matters toilet related today but remarked that his cousin had, 'hurt his feelings'.

Am going to try and catch up on a few comments - I love the comments people write but mine are often a bit uninspired so apologies!
