Friday 27 May 2011: The Bridges of El Condor
This is a famous place in the world of rally!
High up in the mounts above Cordoba in Argentina is the famous El Condor stage, where condors indeed circle overhead.
The rally cars tackle this narrow, twisty downhill stage through amazing high mountain scenary, over a few of these old bridges as they drop down towards Carlos Paz.
The spectators crowd in the night before, camping overnight after somehow finding a place to park between the rocks.
And such a nice day this year too. So this photo tries to get in the bridges, the iconic pampas grass, the parked cars and tents. Probably too cluttered, but didn't want to miss anything out!
