Monday 30 May 2011: Bank Holiday Weather

To be fair, it's a beautiful sunny evening now, but the first half of the day was dominated by the rain.

This picture captures the housebound mood, but at least I had colourful splashes of poppies and foxgloves to brighten the view of the moor. A bold colour blur in the spirit of the fabulous blips of Holly Rowan Hesson.

I did get out later and take some more realist pictures of rain-laden poppies, and poppies with bees, but I decided to stick with this image from the first half of the day.
