In lieu of inspiration
Although having said that I've been eyeing up the Scott Monument for a while wondering if there was a view of it that either hasn't been done or is just a little different. I've been looking at David Springford's book again and being impressed at how he gets a slightly different angle on Edinburgh's landmarks. They seem to work well because we're already so familiar with them that it only takes a fragment to show the thing itself. Mind, you could hardly call this a fragment. Still, maybe I'll just take photos of the Scott Monument all week.
Other than that, the excitement today was a fine lunch at the gang hut with Just Sitting, EcoDad and TFP. Stuff was discussed including various fruitstuffs.
