Wednesday 1 June 2011: Picnic in Nirvana
We're in damp mist today, you can't see the mountain or the other side of the bay. Not a day for picnics so I've had a picnic for one in Nirvana. Himself would have been invited but he doesn't do cakes. Hope it went well in Edinburgh.
No work today as I did a full day yesterday so general pottering. Bagged up some more cards as we have a market stall on Sunday, did a bit of work in the polytunnel, then we went for a walk on a headland which Annabel told us was full of orchids. Inspite of the grey and wind, it was very beautiful - awash with wild flowers - pink pyramidal orchids, blue speedwell, blue milkwort and yellow rattle.
Rumour has it that the next few days are going to be blazing hot and glorious but ....... maybe not the coast - I suspect we'll be in hot mist :(
