Happy

A lovely day with a good friend today! Vicki arrived about 10 and has spent the whole day with us. First off, we went to the Fish Spa. I was really very apprehensive, not sure about the idea of this at all! It was my birthday present from her and hubby. I had told Katie we were going to see some fish and she ran up the stairs calling to them. It was a lovely place, and the fish were happy fellows, bigger than I imagined. It was odd, a little prickly at times, and I'm not sure I'd do it again, but nice to know what the fuss is about! Katie ran between every tank, waving at the fish and saying hello to them. She put her hand in and thought it was funny, so much so that Monkey was given a turn putting his feet in.

Katie then led us to the park, where she had a run, and we took a break to give Katie a picnic in the park, to join the Oxfam Big Picnic. However Mummy had forgotten the memory card and Katie wasnt interested in sitting down outside to eat, far too interested in running around. So we then went for some food in a rather lovely pub. Katie did not eat any of the yummy food from the pub but troughed some of her yogurts and some crackers

She fell asleep in the car and we went to a couple of shops. In one shop, she was walking round with a dustpan and brush, sweeping up. She then switched to a tickling stick. She was very excited to go to a shop to carry a packet of her favourite crackers round with her! In the phone shop, she was running around looking at them all, and waved goodbye to them as we left. We stopped for a drink and Katie claimed my iced tea. Vicki has come home with us for tea and we are going to reattempt a picnic, much to Katie's delight.
