Jack the "Blipper"

Seven little ducks went swimming one day

Swans are the largest members of the duck family and the largest flying birds.
Some can weigh over 15 kg and their wingspans almost 3 m..............
not unlike my own arms!
Sometimes they fly over the stables at work and always I hear them before I see them.
Swans usually mate for life, though 'divorce' sometimes occurs, particularly following nesting failure. The number of eggs in each clutch ranges from three to eight so this pen was a lucky lady hatching 7 babies.
We went for a drink this afternoon on the Cruz ship at the shore, the venue for our wedding party. The barman recognised us and asked if we were still married. We told him yes and he then told us they had recently hosted a divorce party. I guess like the swans, not everyone has a happy ending. Not sure it's a reason to party though.
