Aller simple..

... as the French say. (If your francais is a little rusty that means "single - one way".)

Off to Cambridge for a short break and two daughters are tagging along for the free (for them) holiday! So let me see... that makes four travelling.

So why do I need all these tickets which are - you've guessed it - only for the outward leg of the journey? The others are safely packed for the return. Driving might have been easier.

There must be a better way than this to allow us onto a train and get us a seat? Surely? Is anyone listening? I will get totally confused trying to keep all these in order as we travel along. Maybe I'll dish them out and let everyone take responsibility for losing their own. Good thought.

Aller simple? It sounds like a contradiction in terms.
