Friday 3 June 2011: A glimpse of Ohrid lake
Conference over. Exhaustion setting in. We just had a bit of time for some speed tourism. A small group of us used a water taxi across the bay to the old Byzantine church on the headland and then walked back over the top taking time to admire the amphitheatre from the 1st century BC
and taking many photos although the light is not good today.
Earlier on, there was a spectacular thunderstorm and half the hotel flooded.
