Friday 3 June 2011: Face To Face
At one point in today's safari I was staring at a particularly nasty looking spider with thorny legs, and I jiggled the flower a bit to see if he would show me a nice profile. HE JUMPED! And so did I. I jumped right outta there and back over to the irises where there was a much more considerate insect who waved delicate striped feelers and lovely fragile legs.
