Wednesday 19 March 2008: My spare time
Standing in my spare room this evening, which I use as my office and studio, I realised that what I normally see as chaos actually reflected how much goes on in my life. I loved this photo, because not only do my art materials show through (and my untidiness too) but reflected in the mirror are the personal photos of generations of family that surround me when I work. Look closely, you'll see the folders of work that I have to wade through as well! So, really in that small snap, I've actually managed to get a pretty good summary of who I am without being in the frame!
