Damp Sunday

Awoke to rain this morning, so any idea that we would continue in the garden were dampened, excuse the pun!!!

Our day has been very lazy consequently - this afternoon we went for a drive out to Seadown, the country area where my family farmed before I married. This image is taken at the Opihi River, OMG it has changed dramatically since those days of my youth when we swam most days after school, infact before our school got their swimming pool we used to go there for our swimming lessions, imagine that happening these days??
