Another day, another beach or two

We went to Sandymouth Beach at lunch time and had a massive walk as it is such a HUGE beach!! I took loads of fab photos but I resisted another collage. It is a gorgeous beach and was really quiet. The dogs had a whale of a time and after surfing tips yesterday from Lily, Stanley went in and out of the waves constantly! There looked like there was a boat washed up on the beach but it must have been there years and years as it was covered in mussels and stuff.

We picked some mussels off the rocks and I am going to cook them with garlic and white wine for Si and Steve later - I am allergic so wont partake in them! Jamie Oliver recipe to the rescue!

The Blip above is from the second beach of the day - we went to Trebarwith Strand after Sandymouth beach. Trebarwith was where we spent all most every holiday as kids so it holds fond memories. We had a late lunch at The Port William and watched the world go by - is there any better way of spending a Sunday afternoon? We then had a final play on the beach where we bought a frisbee and the dogs had another good run. The lifeguards on this beach were kicking back and laying like lizards on the rocks hence I could capture this shot.
