Monday 6 June 2011: Time warp
I had to go to Boolaroo today (suburb on the Lake - pronounced bull a roo) and spotted this disused Garage in Main Road. I was tempted to post the B & W version but thought you had to see the rusting pumps in their full glory. When they were last in action, I bet petrol (gas) was 10c per litre (24p/gallon or US 30c/gallon - if I have done my conversions correctly).
Three sleeps to go and I am off to the Land of the Long White Cloud, or as we Aussies say, heading across the ditch. North Island for fellow Kiwi Blippers - visiting dear friends in Auckland.
