Tuesday 7 June 2011: Back home

Just the one picture taken today, of Sarajevo airport at dawn. I'm very happy to be home, but it has been a fascinating trip, as it always is. I really have learnt an awful lot about the Balkans over the last few years, and continue to do so. Yesterday's conference had its moments of interest, including the opportunity to pose a question to the Bosnian Foreign Minister at the dinner last night.

Three flights to get home - Croatian Airlines to Zagreb, and Easyjet ZAG-LGW and LGW-EDI. All on time and quite smooth. It's been a good trip from that perspective. Great to be sitting in my own chair, but the contemplation of all the catching up is not good.

Thinking of going swimming tomorrow. The knee is much better, and this might actually now help it rather than harming it.
