The Life of Bri

Snow, snow, snow

When we woke this morning, it was snowing hard. It snowed and snowed and snowed. When it had finished snowing, it snowed some more. 12 hours later, it has just stopped.

Visibility was poor, but the snow was wonderful.

Soft, light, floaty, forgiving snow. Snow so soft and deep that when my ski tips disappeared beneath it, I could only tell I was moving by the pressure of the snow flowing around my knees.

For the first time, Telemarking was like snowboarding. Light, floaty, effortless. Effortless until I ended up at the bottom of the run, lungs empty, thighs burning, face grinning.

Another run?
