Tuesday 7 June 2011: BLENDING IN

Yet another day when my plans for a walk and a blip were thwarted. Since getting home I have had three 'phone calls from work colleagues. Two of the calls were work related and rather lengthy. The third was lengthy also but for other reasons. I doled out verbal tea and sympathy to my friend who had just returned from the vets' surgery after having had her beloved dog put to sleep. By the time we had finished we were both in floods of tears.

This morning when I left for work this garage door, attached to my neighbour's house, was a subtle shade of fawn. When I returned home it had been transformed into this revolting (I apologize to anyone who thinks that this colour is the bees knees) shade of green. I am hoping it is just the undercoat as it certinaly jars the senses.
