Demo Day

The day you get told your house is a demolition job.
The day you get sent a policy binding letter to sign, to agree to the terms of your insurer as to how and what they are going to pay out, which does not actually state the terms or formulas, but wants you to agree with what they are doing for now and for ever.
The day you are supposed to be sad that your house is a write off, but actually you celebrate the huge leap forward when an insurance company actually talks to you and you have the beginnings of a discussion going forward.
The day, 9 months down the track, that you initially thought was going to occur within the first few weeks.

This photo is a representative picture of what it is like dealing with our insurer.
There is NO PERSON VISIBLE, you have to imagine that part.
It looks like it has been screwed up and thrown in the rubbish, and then retrieved for later.
The policy has a number of headings, it is exciting and looks like it will explain what it means, then as you progress there is a lot of emptyness on the page, and the details are very fuzzy!!!

Tomorrow the lawyers......
