Wednesday 8 June 2011: Fynbos
The heavens opened during the night, but more so early this morning. It has stopped raining for a while, but there are still heavy clouds passing overhead.
So far we have measured 140mm and according to the weather report the rainfall is not finished yet. After the long drought we had a while ago, the rain is ever so welcome.
The image is that of fynbos (it is a collective for a certain type of vegetation), again I am not able to identify this specific plant.
