River Kelvin

Most people associate Glasgow with the River Clyde but I have always found the River Kelvin a fascinating place.

It stretches for about 22 miles and eventually meets up with the Clyde. Along part of its route it runs very close to the Forth & Clyde Canal, and it boasts the Botanic Gardens, the University of Glasgow, the Kelvin Hall, and the Kelvingrove Art Gallery along its banks.

It was another day of sunshine and showers and it was actually raining heavily while I took this although a little bit of sun was still around.
