meeting

I was out tonight for the last Caithness Family History Society meeting of the season. We had a wonderful talk by Harry Grey, who is a lovely man and the new Chairman of the Wick Society...he brought along some films of old Wick, one of them concentrating on the Johnston family of photographers, and one Kodachrome short taken by Alex Johnston, the last of the photographers.

If you fancy seeing some of the photo's nip along here and just have a search. There are some fabulous old photos. THIS one is my favourite... stuffed dog

Anyhow...this is one of the Coat of Arms on the side of the buildign where our meetings take place..Thurso Old Town Hall..which is now Caithness Horizons. Its the Arms of the Sinclair family of Thurso
