Wednesday 8 June 2011: GIVE ME SHELTER
When I got home form work today I got the vacuum out and let it run riot around the house. The cat, up until the vacuum's arrival, had been quite happy to sprawl out on the carpet but once it appeared on the scene he shot outside through his cat flap despite the fact that it was raining.
Later, as I put some rubbish in the bin I saw him sheltering, from the rain, under the tree.
Eventually, he poked his head through the cat flap and once he was certain that the vacuum was no longer in evidence he deigned to come in.
