Lunch by a torn fence with barbie doll

There's a work buddy of mine that knows *all* the places to eat. The ones that are good, the ones that are cheap and the ones that are off-beat. He's like a walking Lonely Planet guide for portuguese restaurants.

Today he tooks us to lunch on a neighbourhood association of a slightly dodgy area around Lisbon. It is located on a sad-looking patio between degradated buildings and with lots of sick pidgeons walking around (one even had its feets tied up, looked like an escaped prisioner).

But the talk was good, the waiter was nice, the food was decent, the sangria was slightly-poisonous-yet-very-fresh and the price was just right.
