the way every Saturday should be:

surfing
brunch

then...

a couple friends (one a pilot) and I decided why not try and convince a flight training company to let two of us (the pilot and I) take the back seat as we split the cost of an introductory lesson, with the newbie at the wheel. So for 33 bucks each we had an hour long scenic flight over LA, malibu, point dume, the hollywood hills, etc. all with the controls in the hands of my good friend Evan (thanks for not getting us killed!). It was a blast. I could totally do that again. Next time I'll be the one flying!
