Riverside Museum - 1

The new Glasgow Riverside Museum of Transport has another 10 days or so before it opens. One advantage of that was I got to park for free.

It is billed as a World Class centre and the architect Zaha Hadid made her first visit yesterday. The intention is that the building itself will be as big an attraction as the exibits. The cost is reckoned to be around £74 million.

One journalist did suggest the facade is a bit like a 'worrying cardiogram'. He does go on to say its a very impressive building.
