Kinda Horrigans

Friday 10 June 2011: Uninviting...

469/365: ... the state of this doorway and the state of my photography this week!

Yesterday's was a dud... and I get to the 'cringe as I blip' stage as I post this one and know that it was rushed and a bit crappy. In fact, it was taken through my car window as I sat in traffic lights and I thought 'I am going to have no time to take photos today' and this was the panicky result.

Wouldn't it be nice to have more time? I see so many fab images on blip and I wish I had even half an hour spare time each day to do some photography. The reality is that I'm leaving the house around half past six, don't get back until gone six... and then this evening I've spent my time preparing a tutorial for tomorrow morning and at a quarter to ten have just finished for the day. No time for lunch. Or a walk. Or anything.

It sure has been a busy week! Maybe next week I'll manage to carve out a smidge of time for me? That'd be good.

At least by midday tomorrow I've got some time off. It would be nice to do something... not sure what... but anything would be good, to be honest!

And perhaps a teensy lie-in!

*claps hands excitedly*

Ooooh, and talking of exciting little stuff... my new radishes, lettuces and spinach have appeared in the veggie patch! Yay! It really is quite ridiculous how much pleasure I get from my garden. There's something nice about simple stuff. Not juggling the complexities of work or other people's sensibilities. Me and my little plants.

Yes, I realise I sound like a bit of a sad case. But I don't care! Y'gotta get your sparkly happy bits in your day somewhere, huh?

PS I may even try not whinging tomorrow
PPS How will I fill the gap?!
