Saturday 11 June 2011: The Great Scottish Summer
Ah, the cold and soggy joy of bringing up the rear of the Dunbar Civic Week parade.
Wearing an ill-fitting hi-vis vest was the icing on the cake.
Still, you have to hand it to people; they didn't let pouring rain and freezing temperatures put them off. Sadly.
At one point, Matt couldn't feel his fingers any more. "Come on," I said, trying to jolly him along. "One day, you'll look back on this and smile." He looked less than convinced.
