Saturday 11 June 2011: Balloon
Today started with swimming and then a longish bus ride to a friends for lunch. The highlight of the journey was A (7 yrs old) telling us about The Big Bang and after a wee minute R (5 yrs old) saying, 'did it not hurt someones ears?' A then asked if I knew who in our family had been a monkey.! The joys of Darwinism for Weans.
Lunch was a nice wee meet up with some friends we don't see too often. On the way home R was knackered and a bit overwhelmed by things, aye, that means she was crying over stuff. Anyway, she found this orange balloon, and fairly perked up, until a wee gust of wind caught it and it ended up in the branches of a tree. :-(
Listening to this as I post tonight.
And the bike theme will continue, but it was seriously pishin' doon whenever I was out so didn't feel very inclined to ask or even take any photos.
