Sunday 12 June 2011: Low Tide Rocks
I had never actually intended to head down here today but I was near Newhaven so nipped down for an hour to get a "shot in the bag" for the day. The master plan was to dice with the tide at Cramond tonight mixed with a nice sunset, as you'll see from the weather that plan didn't happen! The pain about that is that it could be ages till the tides and sunset match up again.
Anyway, Newhavem from along the sea defences. You take your life in your hands getting down there over the seaweed/algae line, slippiest surface known to man! Once you're down at the low tide line though its all ok and you can get back up at the far end at the lighthouse easily enough.
Very grey when I was down here, not a lot of cloud movement so not the best overall.
