Does someone need a hug?

Work took me to the Linlithgow Marches today and wasn't I surprised to see they had drafted in some new recruits to the local constabulary. Isn't that taking the cutbacks too far?
I remember a couple of years ago the polis being ridiculed for their cardboard cut out idea to bolster their numbers.................
