Thursday 16 June 2011: Istanbul sunset
So there had to be one. Sunsets, that is. Istanbul seems to specialze in them, even after an awful day of rain like today.
We treated ourselves to something of a stereotypical tourists' dinner this evening, in the Imbat Restaurant on the 7th floor of the Orient Express Hotel. Recommended by the Rough Guide, it turned out to be a nice place which afforded a great view of the sunset when it came.
