Saturday 23 April 2011: Fear
Bob was persistent in his resistance in trying the water slide. Obviously, not a normal reaction for a young male. He said he just didn't want to, but I knew better and kept nagging him until he shared with me that he was afraid of the pool next to the slide. After much talk, I convinced him to go down the slide, just once, with his mother.
I'm not sure at what point in the descent he changed his mind about the water slide, but he had clearly decided it was a (really) good thing by the time he got to the bottom.
