Thursday 16 June 2011: Sun Dog
A very interesting sunset tonight. One beam of light shooting right up where the sun was setting and a Sun dog to the right of it. My husband has always called these rainbow balls, Sun Dogs. Here's Wikipedia's definition of a Sun dog.
I have been going down to the dock the last couple of nights to catch the sunset. It's been so cold and windy that I ended up coming back home without any good shots. Tonight I wasn't planning on going down, but I saw this beam of light from my window, I knew I must go.
On the work front, it's a quiet week following graduation. The weather has been sunny but cold and lots of wind.
