Ash Clouds

Busy day today, picked up 2 members of the team and we drove north to Hanmer Springs. We were presenting a number of online marketing workshops to a group of of tourism marketing people.

It went well, but was pretty rushed. As these people are here from all over the country, and some form offshore, travels plans we're severely disrupted from the Chilean Ash cloud. Jetstars flights have been cancelled for days, and even Air NZ joined in when the cloud got down to 10 000ft. So, an interesting day - people were off early, driving to alternate parts of the country to fly out. Nonetheless, successful.

Then back to Christchurch and into work briefly, heading home just in time to catch the end of the sunset and the ash cloud.

And then another great night catching up, as he?s down to help with house inspections etc post-earthquake. Bed late, and VERY tired!
