Saturday 18 June 2011: The rainbow and the rain

We were promised rain today - lots of heavy rain all day.

Fortunately, the weather Gods didn't deliver on the volume, only the persistence.

For those playing netball outside today it wouldn't have been very nice at all - and even less so for those spectating.

I liked the colour and vibrancy that this young girl's brolly brought to the day :)

In other news........

Thanks for all the kind words and thoughts about my shoulder/back. Pleased to say that it's feeling a lot better today (even managed to chop some more firewood!) although there's still something not quite right in there. I can still feel pain but at least I can move much, much more freely now :)

Such is the price of ageing!!
