Feels a bit like me today. Both kids gone out without a word of "Thanks" or "Love you" - the boy asking for money to buy, on his way, a dress for a fancy dress surf competition and the girl in town on the TXT asking me to upgrade her phone early because it's broken too many times (though, clearly the £19 replacement one from Tesco is perfectly good at sending TXTs and making calls).
